======My Bio for the UNM Pediatric Residency Program======


Truc-Ha's moniker rhymes with "bazooka"; however she has not had much success in making this a useful mnemonic for patients. Truc-Ha was born in California, grew up in Northern Nevada, earned a BA in English Writing and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Nevada, and studied medicine at the University of Connecticut. She has a professional interest in Hematology-Oncology and medical education, and she hopes to become a doctor in both the modern sense of being a physician, and the Classical sense of embodying docere, to teach.

Truc-Ha strives to build a sound philosophical outlook as a basis for a happy and rich life, a core value she shares with Sunny, her husband. Currently, they also share a large book collection, a unique wedding, an art development and publishing company, and respect for diversity and intelligence. As they enjoy hosting gatherings--with cooking, hiking, port wine, reading plays, Guinness, card or board games, and combinations thereof--the sharp pleasures of good company and brisk, intellectual conversation are memories they look forward to making in the years to come.
